had a look off beachy in the afternoon but the wind was still north of east and the visibility not good. saw my first arctic skua plus 12 sandwich terns, 8 red-throated divers, 4 mergs, 6 scoters, and 14 gannets. a few porpoises were lingering quite close.

don't think i've ever seen a 5 day forecast of solid southeasterlies
